These data contain wind and temperature data from the Tangaroa Automatic Weather Station (AWS)<br />
with the following corrections:<br />
1) Wind translated to the standard 10m height (versus the measurement height of 25m)<br />
<br />
2) Wind has been calculated for neutral stability using the Fairall et al (2003)<br />
TOGA COARE code (version 3.0).<br />
<br />
3) A correction for airflow distortion around around the ship has been made following <br />
Popinet, Smith, Stevens (2004) JAOT 21, 1575-1589<br />
<br />
4) A seasurface skin temperature from M-AERI has been used in the COARE calculations</p>
