This dataset supports the study <i>“Microtopographic controls on CO₂ and CH₄ emissions in a sedge peatland of the Changbai Mountains, China.”</i><br>It contains field measurements of CO₂ and CH₄ fluxes, soil temperature, water table depth, and soil physicochemical properties collected from 2017 to 2020 in a sedge (Carex schmidtii) peatland. The data were used to assess how hummock–hollow microtopography influences greenhouse gas emissions and carbon cycling.<br>The dataset can be used for peatland carbon flux modeling, validation of process-based models, and comparative studies of microtopographic effects on GHG dynamics.
