Metagenomic study of gut microflora of Heteropneustes fossilis (Bloch)

This study aimed to understand the bacterial composition of gut of Singhi (Heteropneustes fossilis). Annotation of microbial diversity, functional profiling as well as decoding the prevalence of antimicrobial resistance genes of gut bacterial flora. We have also tried to find out potential probiotic bacteria which may be a good and sustainable supplement of different antibiotics, chemical agents in aquaculture.
