Dataset for Stagnation and Deformation of Izanagi Slab in the Mid-mantle: Joint Inversion of S-Wave Travel Times and SKS Splitting Data

We construct a S-wave anisotropic model beneath East Asia through a joint inversion of S-wave travel times and SKS splitting data. This model provides 3-D information about the mantle structure of isotropic S-wave velocity, anisoropic strength, azimuthal and dip angles of hexagonal symmetry axes. The imaging depth reaches 1100 km. This dataset contains all data we used, including the S-wave arrival-time data of in-region earthquakes, the relative travel-time residual data of outside-region events, and the SKS splitting measurement results in East Asia.
