Replicate-Level Cumulative Methane Production Data from Acetate Methanogenesis Using Waste-Derived Fe-Co ZIF
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains replicate-level cumulative methane production measurements obtained from laboratory-scale batch anaerobic digestion experiments investigating the effects of waste-derived iron-cobalt zeolitic imidazolate framework (Fe-Co ZIF) on acetate methanogenesis. Experiments were conducted in triplicate over 21 days under mesophilic conditions (37 ± 2 °C), using seven treatments: a control without catalyst and Fe-Co ZIF dosages of 5, 20, 35, 50, 100, and 150 mg g⁻¹ VS. The experiments used 250 mL reactors with a working volume of 200 mL. Methane production was measured using a gas-tight syringe following CO₂ absorption in 10% KOH solution and normalized to the volatile solids of the added substrate (mL CH₄ g⁻¹ VS). The dataset provides experimental measurements for evaluating dosage-dependent methane production, assessing treatment variability, and supporting modified Gompertz kinetic modelling and statistical analysis. These data underpin the findings reported in the associated research manuscript, “Catalytic Enhancement of Acetate Methanogenesis Using Waste-Derived Fe-Co Zeolitic Imidazolate Framework: Performance Evaluation and Kinetic Modelling.”
