In order to uncover the underlying mechanisms behind the observed oncogenic phenotype of ALYREF in colorectal cancer in vitro and in vivo, we applied a whole transcriptome analysis to find deregulated genes upon ALYREF silencing. HCT116 colorectal cancer cells were transfected with 20 nM ALYREF siRNA or negative control siRNA for 48 hours and RNA was isolated and sent to analysis. Three independent experiments have been performed.
