Genetic diversity of cowpea landraces from southern africa

We have harnessed a wide portfolio of genetic resources available in local and global gene banks. Genomic sciences have been employed to characterize these collections for their climatic and genetic diversity. Their potential in supporting climate adaptation also includes participatory variety selection to identify the best varieties to be distributed to farmers.
