Teledyne Reson SeaBat MBES DTM of Magoodhoo lagoon (Maldives) - 2019

This dataset contains a high-resolution Digital Terrain Model (DTM) of the lagoon area offshore Magoodho Island and Dharanboodhoo Island, Maldives. Multibeam Echosounder (MBES) acoustic data were collected in 2019 during the international workshop "Mapping Technologies in Coral Reef Environment" held at the MaRHE Center using a Teledyne Reson SeaBat MBES, property of the University of Milano-Bicocca (UNIMIB), as part of the fieldwork activities during the workshop. Data were processed using QPS Qimera software to generate the DTM. The DTM, with a 5 m resolution, is provided as an ASCII file (Magoodhoo_SeaBat_DTM_5m.asc) along with its georeferencing file (Magoodhoo_SeaBat_DTM_5m.prj). This data were used as a baseline for data acquisition during the Maldives Summer School, organized under the BridgET Erasmus+ Programme.
