MC-hands-1M

MC-hands-1M is a synthetic image dataset created by the Greek Research Center, focusing on 3D pose estimation of glove-worn hands. The dataset contains 1 million color images showing gloved right hands in outdoor environments. It is generated via Blender software, with multiple influencing factors of the scene taken into account, such as background, lighting, camera perspectives and more. MC-hands-1M aims to solve the performance degradation problem of existing AI algorithms when processing gloved hands, and is suitable for retraining hand pose estimation and tracking modules, especially in hazardous work environments and sports fields.
