Audience questionnaires for ‘The Stage and Beyond: Scenography and Audience Experience in Post-Millennial Stagings of Samuel Beckett’s Works’

The data was collected as part of the doctoral research project titled: 'The Stage and Beyond: Scenography and Audience Experience in Post-Millennial Stagings of Samuel Beckett’s works'.

This data is a collection of audience questionnaires and audience responses (70 in total) to eight theatre productions of Samuel Beckett’s works that took place from 2008 onwards. The data was collected to supplement performance analysis, and to assess an audience member’s total experience of particular theatrical performances.

The questionnaires are anonymous and made up of six to eight short questions that provide space for long-answer text. The data was collected online, through Google Forms, during the years 2018 to 2024. The questionnaires were circulated on social media and through targeted emails.
