Ice jam formations along Daungava and Lielupe rivers have started to increase water level since late January 2018. Today the rapid snowmelt due to high temperatures (0 - +4°) and rainfalls are dramatically increasing water levels and volume: these conditions can lead to potential floodings and ice jam movements, especially within the Lielupe catchment due to it's phisiography.<br>
