We have analyzed changes in histone H3 lysine 4 methylation (H3K4me) and gene expression resulting from trx knockdown (KD) in adult mushroom body neurons of Drosophila melanogaster. Overall design: Examination of H3k4me1 and H3K4me3 levels, and gene expression in mushroom body neurons of adult naïve or trained trx-KD flies and their genetic background controls. Genetic material was collected from pools of 50-60 fly heads in least 3 replicates per condition.
