Complete genome sequence of a novel aerobic denitrifying strain, Pseudomonas monteilii CY06

A novel aerobic denitrifying isolate, CY06, was obtained from the Western Pacific Ocean, and it was identified as Pseudomonas monteilii. Here, we described the complete genome of strain CY06. The genome has one circular chromosome of 5,774,879 bp (61.00 mol% G + C content), consisting of 6843 coding genes, 86 tRNA genes, as well as 26 rRNA operons for 16S-23S-5S rRNA. According to the annotation analysis, strain CY06 encodes 22 proteins related to nitrogen metabolism, whereas other relative genes products that were hypothetically involved in the mechanism of denitrification were identified.
