Myanmar marine fishes

In the Republic of Myanmar, the demand for fishing products has increased in the last decades. This project is the first comprehensive marine fish identification study using DNA barcoding in the country that will contribute to the accurate identification of species being extracted from the ocean concerning to the sustainability of critical marine ecosystems and fish stocks and conservation of fish biodiversity.
