Butterflies of America is an online database dedicated to the research and appreciation of butterflies of the Americas. Currently, it features over 160,000 images and information on more than 8,300 species. This database aims to serve as a comprehensive online resource for the taxonomy, identification, distribution, habitats, life histories, and references of butterflies of the Americas, encompassing species, subspecies, and undescribed geographic variants. The website is an ongoing project supported by the Butterflies of America Foundation.
