Digital Archive from an Archaeological Excavation at the Grovehill Road Depot, Beverley, November 2020 to January 2021

This collection comprises image, text and spreadsheet data from a strip, map, excavation and sample investigation at the former Grovehill Road Depot, Grovehill Road, Beverley (NGR TA 505103 439680). The work was undertaken between the 30 November 2020 and the 15 January 2021 by York Archaeological Trust. Archaeological features indicate usage of the site from Anglo-Saxon to the post-medieval. The site was developed as a council depot in the mid-20th century, and footings of some of these buildings, together with associated drains were present when the archaeological excavations commenced.
