资源简介:
Psophocarpus tetragonolobus (L.) DC. (Fam. Fabaceae) popularly known as Winged bean is a tropical legume of high protein-content. Phytochemical profiling implies that, condensed tannin (CT) is a potential anti-nutrient in the seed-coat of P. tetragonolobus. The biosynthesis of CT takes place in the leaf-tissues of the plant. So, to develop basic understanding about condensed tannin biosynthesis in P. tetragonolobus, the transcriptome sequencing of leaf tissues of two contrasting chemotypes i.e. high and low condensed tannin containing lines of P.tetragonolobus was carried out through paired-end (PE) Illumina NGS sequencing. The sequence assembly resulted in 88433 and 102586 transcripts with an average length of 736.002 bp and 713.192 bp for high and low tannin containing line of P. tetragonolobus, respectively.
