LINC00894 promotes neuronal survival by regulating the expression of ATF3.

There is evidence suggesting that LINC00894 may have a biological role in the brain, but the exact function of this gene remains largely unknown. In this study, we discovered that LINC00894 regulates neuronal cell apoptosis. Using RNA-seq, we identified a gene cluster regulated by LINC00894 in M17 neuroblast cell line, and qRT-PCR analysis demonstrated that LINC00894 may affect cell viability by modulating the expression of ATF3 in neuronal cells. Overall design: To investigate the function of LINC00894 in M17 neuroblast cell line, we constructed the LINC00894 knockdown vector by CRISPR-Cas9.We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq.
