Anaerobic methane oxidation is a key process for methane reducing and nitrogen removal in eutrophic lake. Dianchi lake as a typical eutrophication lake in plateau area, it was more implication significant to revealing the distribution patterns of anaerobic methane oxidation potential and related microbe in the sediment. This study aimed to characterize the anaerobic methane oxidation potential and to find out the correlations to biological/nonbiological factors along eutrophic gradients.
