<b><i>The purpose of the study</i></b>: to investigate the attitudes of Lithuanian population about the most important political, social and economic issues during the rapid transformation of society and state.
<br>
<b><i>Major investigated questions</i></b>: respondents were asked how A. M. Brazauskas performs the duties of the President, and Č. Juršėnas and A. Šleževičius hold the positions of the Speaker of the Seimas and the Prime Minister respectively. Opinions were evaluated on how the activities of the Seimas and the Government correspond to the interests of the people. Further respondents were asked to assess the current economic situation in Lithuania and what respondents think will be the economic situation in Lithuania after 12 months. Also, the respondents assessed their current economic situation (their family) and the material situation of the respondents (their family) after 12 months respectively.

<b><i>Socio-demographic characteristics</i></b>: gender, age, nationality, country of birth, education, work status, employment, occupation, average monthly income of respondent, monthly family income per one family member, place of residence.
