qPCR results for strains AJ4 and INO2 mutants, targeting the genes EKI1, ERG1, ERG9, ERG20, HNM1, and OLE1

This document presents the qPCR analysis results for strains AJ4, AJ4 Ino2pI263V, AJ4 Ino2pR86H, and AJ4 Ino2pI263V, R86H), each analyzed in triplicate (A, B, C), for the genes EKI1, ERG1, ERG9, ERG20, HNM1, and OLE1, using ACT1 and RDN18-1 (18S) as reference genes. Calculations normalized to t0 are included, along with statistical analyses and the oligonucleotide sequences used. This analysis was performed to verify the role of the two amino acid substitutions in INO2 of AJ4 in ethanol tolerance, as identified in the study Identification of a crucial INO2 allele for enhancing ethanol resistance in an industrial fermentation strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
