Diving deeper expanding community stewardship of Kangaroo Islands rocky reefs

This project will engage with the Kangaroo Island community to monitor reef sites across Kangaroo Island, increasing stewardship of the marine environment. The project will address a lack of baseline data on reef biodiversity, the need for accurate data collection by community members, the low level of public stewardship of KI’s marine environment, deficient knowledge of species of ecological significance, and the lack of community knowledge about Kangaroo Island reefs.
