资源简介:
This collection includes biogeochemical sensor data transmitted in near real-time (no QC) from the National Reference Stations at Maria Island off the east coast of Tasmania (NRSMAI), and North Stradbroke Island in south-east Queensland (NRSNSI). In 2015 data was also provided from a mooring in the Palm Passage (2015-05-22 to 2016-05-25). Each mooring is equipped with two WETLabs Water Quality Monitors (WQM), measuring temperature, salinity, pressure, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll concentration, and turbidity. These data (together with biogeochemical sensor data from other moorings) are also processed in delayed mode, with automated quality control applied, and made available in a separate collection. The National Reference Station network is designed to provide baseline information, at timescales relevant to human response, that is required to understand how large-scale, long-term change and variability in the global ocean are affecting the ecosystems of Australia's coastal seas. The stations are operated by the National Mooring Network (formerly known as the Australian National Mooring Network (ANMN)), a facility of the Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS).This collection has been discontinued, as the real-time telemetry has been removed from the platforms.
