Microwave-assisted nanocomposite were prepared and evaluated using FTIR, DSC, XRD, solubility, in-vitro dissolution, SEM, and TEM. The drug-polymer ratio affects the celecoxib solubility and release at colonic pH. Study on solubility demonstrated that as the polymer concentration rises to the optimal level, the drug's solubility increases. Solubility of celecoxib-shellac nanocomposite (CSNC) and celecoxib-eudragit nanocomposite (CENC) had enhanced 26.22 μg/ml and 8.58 μg/ml, respectively, when using 1:3 ratio for CSNC and 1:4 ratio for CENC. Optimum ratio of drug to polymer showed release of drug 92.72±1.7% and 79.66±2.4% for CSNC and CENC respectively at the end of 8h at colonic pH.
