The raster map of forest land cover at medium-resolution is one of the main cartographic outputs of the Continuous Forest Inventory of Galicia, Spain. It can be viewed on the portal's viewer (https://invega.xunta.gal/invega/visor-gis). This map provides comprehensive, accurate, and transparent information on land cover in Galicia, essential data for multiple fields and applications such as environmental monitoring, land-use planning, climate change assessments and emergency management. The dataset is available as a 10 m raster layer. Every pixel shows the predominant land cover among 23 thematic classes. The time series begins in 2022 and is updated annually.
