Anonymized Rubric Data and Reproducibility Materials for Technology-Enhanced X-Ray Diffraction Assessment in STEM Education

This dataset and reproducibility package supports a retrospective mixed-methodsstudy of technology-enhanced assessment in STEM education using X-raydiffraction interpretation as the disciplinary context. Supplementary Data S1 contains anonymized report-level rubric scores for 11group laboratory reports, including scores assigned by the principal andexternal evaluators, variable definitions, statistical summaries, datasets usedfor figure generation, and validation checks. Supplementary File S2 contains the complete R script, reproducibilityinstructions, session information, validation results, machine-readablestatistical outputs, and reproducible versions of Figures 4–6. A copy ofSupplementary Data S1 is included within the reproducibility package to allowstandalone execution of the R workflow. The deposited materials contain only anonymized group-level report identifiers(E1–E11). They do not include student names, institutional identifiers,individual grades, or original laboratory reports. The materials are associated with a manuscript examining the distinctionbetween operational use of professional analytical software and criticalevaluation of software-generated outputs in STEM education.
