Aeribacillus pallidus W-12 was isolated by using paraffin as inducer from Dagang oil reservoir Sewage in northern China. The aim is to report the genome sequence of Aeribacillus pallidus W-12, which can not only help us to reveal the mechanism of degrading alkanes and aromatics in high temperature from the genetic level but also make up the knowledge gap of thermophilic microorganisms. Genomic information can provide the basis for research directions, such as the disposal of oil-contaminated soil, degradation of organic sulfur (nitrogen) compounds.
