We use a screening approach based on haploid cells to identify suppressors of DNA damage hypersensitivity in certain genetic backgrounds. In brief, retroviral gene-traps are used to mutagenize a human haploid cell line. Gene-traps are localized in DNA-damage resistant clones by sequencing.
