Biotechnological production of Borrelia burgdorferi sl S protein

Borrelia burgdorferi  S protein could be used in the detection of specific immunoglobulins from patients' sera with Lyme disease that may be infected with different genospecies of B. burgdorferii sl. The goal of the study was to obtain the highest possible yield of protein expression in prokaryotic cells. This dataset contains data regarding the biotechnologial production  of a recombinant B. burgdorferii sl protein named  "S".
Data includes the methodology,  recombinant protein sequence and an image file with results of SDS-PAGE showing recombinant protein expression in E. coli cells.
