Habitat mapping data of Baden-Württemberg

This dataset contains biodiversity and geospatial data of plants and habitat types from the habitat mapping programs of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg from 1989 until 2022. All protected habitats in the state have digitized polygons available, including information on habitat types and plant species. Many habitats have been remapped, but due to restrictions from the data owners (federal state agencies), the data presented here exclude polygons from previous mappings (up until 2004) for the open land, while for forests all polygons are included.
