This investigation is a personal narrative, that of my father’s World War II Australian soldier experience and a post-war life that I shared with him. It is a set of stories, informed and imagined, written and visualised; a different narrative, and a viewpoint overlooked in conventional histories promulgated through official archives and institutionalised memorialisation.
