PARP1 has been shown to play roles in alternative splicing yet the role of PARP1 in circRNA biogenesis is unknown. Here we determine PARP1's role in backsplicing. Overall design: Three conditions, wild type (WT), PARylation inhibition using PJ34 (PARPi), and PARP-1 knockdown (KD), were examined with three replicates per condition.
