Summary of distinct CD4+ T cell epitopes recognized after vaccination with recombinant proteins and PI-WCV.

aMice were subcutaneously vaccinated with 10 ug PI-WCV/mouse(IFA+CpG) for 10 days. Peptide at 1 ug/ml. Three Independent experiment (n = 6). T cells were tested in ELISPOT assays for IFN-g production. Data is presented as Stimulation index (SI), calculated as the number of spot forming cells after peptide stimulation divided by spot forming cells in background. SI>2 was used as cut-off for positive response.bMice were intratracheally infected using 106C. burnetii RSA439 strain for 12 days. Peptide at 1 ug/ml. Three independent experiment (n = 4). ELISPOT assays were performed as for post-vaccination.
