Gene expression profiling of tamoxifen resistance in estrogen receptor-positive (ER+) breast cancer cells.

Tamoxifen resistance is a major challenge in clinics, reducing the clinical outcome of ER+ breast cancer patients. To identify novel genes differentially expressed during tamoxifen resistance, we performed whole transcriptome sequencing in parental vs. tamoxifen resistant derivatives of MCF-7 ER+ breast cancer cells.
