Pharmaceutical retail sales value in Brazil 2010-2020

In 2020, retail sales of cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and medical products in Brazil amounted to around 195 billion Brazilian reals, up from 178.67 billion reals in sales revenue reported a year earlier. Compared to 2010, the retail sales value of these pharmaceutical products increased more than 200 percent in the South American country. Moreover, the importance of internet in the pharmaceutical market has been increasing, with sales revenue through this channel reaching 7.65 Brazilian reals in 2020.
