Parasitological examination data of invasive Northern raccoons (Procyon lotor) from the Doupov Highlands, Czech Republic

This dataset contains individual-level field and parasitological examination records for ten legally hunted invasive Northern raccoons (Procyon lotor) from the Doupov Highlands, Czech Republic. The records include sample identifier, sex, body mass, collection date, WGS 84 coordinates, dissection date, and raw laboratory notes on Nematoda, Cestoda, Trematoda and Acanthocephala. Baylisascaris procyonis was confirmed in three raccoons, from which 1, 2 and 8 specimens were recovered. The dataset supports the article “First record of Baylisascaris procyonis in the wild invasive Northern raccoon (Procyon lotor) in the Czech Republic” published in Frontiers in Veterinary Science. Newly generated sequence data are available in GenBank under accession numbers PX417439 and PX417440.
