Maritime Connectivity, Institutional Quality, and Logistics Performance: A Country-Wave Panel Dataset (2007–2022)

"This dataset contains an unbalanced country-wave panel (756 observations, 2007–2022) combining the UNCTAD Liner Shipping Connectivity Index (LSCI), the World Bank Logistics Performance Index (LPI), the World Bank Worldwide Governance Indicators (Government Effectiveness, Regulatory Quality, Rule of Law), and control variables (GDP per capita, trade openness, population) drawn from the World Bank World Development Indicators. The dataset was assembled to test whether the effect of maritime connectivity on national logistics performance is moderated by institutional quality, as reported in the accompanying manuscript submitted to Transport Policy.
