Chinese softshell turtle(Pelodiscus sinensis) Super-GBS sequencing

Chinese soft-shelled turtle (Pelodiscus sinensis) is an important economic aquaculture species in China. However, with the continuous development of P. sinensis culture, the problems of germplasm degradation and population mixing have become increasingly prominent. It seriously affected the protection and utilization of germplasm resources of P. sinensis. In order to broadens the understanding of germplasm resources of P. sinensis and improve the efficiency of germplasm identification, Super-GBS sequencing technology was used to conduct population genetic analysis of P. sinensis samples from 6 different populations distributed in 5 provinces in this study.
