Butyriboletus regius and B. fechtneri: typification of two well-known species. Butyriboletus regius and B. fechtneri: typification of two well-known species

The paper deals with type material of two species of genus Butyriboletus, which were described from Czech Republic: B. regius (Krombholz 1832) and B. fechtneri (Velenovský 1922). For both species are designated lectotypes, for B. fechtneri also an epitype. The authors present macro- and microscopic description of these species based on the study of rich material including the collections from the area of type localities. Characters distinguishing both species from similar taxa are discussed.
