QT26-QC: A Temporally Bounded Fish Recognition Evaluation Roster

QT26-QC is a fixed evaluation roster for fine-grained fish recognition. Its canonical scoring set contains 6,719 byte-complete natural-photo queries from 3,121 FishBase 25.04 taxa, with row-level provenance, licence, attribution and image identity. The record provides the same 6,719 image byte sequences as ten Parquet shards and as the immutable E0 archival object, whose original byte stream is carried in four ordered transport parts. A complete row-level cross-check found no mismatch in image SHA-256, canonical key, normalized licence or attribution. The recorded observation window is 1 March 2026 02:31 UTC through 23 June 2026 06:50 UTC. QT26-QC uses a fixed denominator and publishes query-micro and species-macro top-1, top-5 and top-20 scoring rules, transition accounting and a target-species-cluster bootstrap implementation. Twenty-eight CC BY-NC-ND rows retain identical image bytes across both representations. The temporal boundary must be interpreted relative to a model's own training cutoff.
