Data and Code for Global Lithospheric Biomass Estimation

This release provides code, project-authored data products, pretrained geothermal-gradient models, processed inputs, and reference outputs for estimating lithospheric biomass. The workflow combines XGBoost geothermal-gradient reconstruction, calculation of the depth to the 122 °C thermal boundary and habitable lithospheric volume, and continental and oceanic cell density extrapolation methods. The archive includes reproducible Python and R workflows, the input data required by the documented analyses, and compact reference outputs for the reported biomass and geothermal-uncertainty analyses. This version reorganizes the repository into reusable source modules and command-line workflows, adds the processed 1° mean annual surface-temperature input, documents data provenance, and includes validation tests and reference outputs.
