Heterochromatin formation remodeled by IRTKS condensates counteracts cellular senescence

To uncover the function of IRTKS, the gene expression in kidneys and livers of WT and IRTKS KO mice were detected by RNA-seq. To decipher the genome-wide epigenetic changes caused by IRTKS deficiency, Chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq) was used to examine the enrichment of H3K9me3 and HP1alpha, typical markers of heterochromatin, in MEFs and livers of WT and IRTKS KO mice.
