资源简介:
In the context of China, the adverse impact of cadmium (Cd) stress on the growth and productivity of purple flowering stalks (Brassica campestris var. purpuraria) is noteworthy. Previous research has indicated that supplementing with exogenous selenium can alleviate the detrimental effects of Cd stress across various plant species. However, the specific physiological and molecular mechanisms through which exogenous selenium enhances the resistance of vegetable shoots to Cd stress remain unclear. To address this gap in knowledge, we conducted a study focusing on Purple Flowering Stalks (Brassica campestris var. purpuraria). The investigation aimed to explore the impact of sodium selenite (Na2SeO3) treatment on both the physiological and transcriptome responses to cadmium stress in these plants.
