Draft of the Steregushi memorial

There is interesting connection between Vladivostok and St. Petersburg despite both cities are on the different ends of Russia. The other day I've found a preliminary scale model of famous monument for Steregushi ship in St. Petersburg hidden at the confined room of naval museum in Vladivostok. Finished in 1911 this monument by Konstantin Izenberg is the first and the last of Art Nouveau style monuments in Russia. It depicts a legend of two sailors sinking the battle ship "Steregushi" to prevent it falling into the enemy's hands during the Russian-Japanesse war.  Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
