资源简介:
Candida albicans is a diploid yeast species responsible for life-threatening infections in hospitalized patients and also the most frequent fungal commensal of humans. In this study, we have sequenced the diploid genomes of 182 C. albicans isolates from healthy carriers, and superficial and invasive infections. The 182 isolates belonged to 14 of the 18 C. albicans clades that have been previously defined through multi-locus sequence typing and originate from Europe, Asia, Africa and America. Genomes for the 182 isolates were sequenced using the Illumina technology with 100 bp paired-ends reads.
