This dataset comprises 3D scanned point cloud imagery of Cave 4 of the Yungang Grottoes in Shanxi Province. The data was collected in 2021 using the Z+F IMAGE 5010 laser scanner, with a scanning speed of over 1 million points per second, a minimum point spacing of 0.1 mm, a field of view of 360×320°, and a maximum scanning distance of 187 m. This dataset has excellent imaging conditions, enabling effective information preservation for the vulnerability-related data of immovable cultural relics. It can be used to monitor changes of the relics through comparative analysis of multiple collected datasets.
