53 photographs of scenes, including snow and a dogsled, in Yosemite National Park, California, 1940 July 12. "Subject: Yosemite Valley copies from prints given us for stock by Mr. Oliver, So[uth] Olive St[reet]." "Client: Whittington" -- on envelope. The 6 negative envelopes (and 2 scraps) indicate that the Whittington studio fulfilled 34 print orders and sold reproduction rights 26 times. Editor's note: many of the images were not taken on or near the date given on the negative envelopes, because they show the park with snow.
