To investigate whether intestinal epithelial cell (IEC)-specific deletion of alpha-mannosidase II affects the composition of commensal microbiota, fecal samples from IEC-specific alpha-mannosidase II deficient mice were analyzed by 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) amplicon sequence. The V3 and V4 regions of the 16S rRNA gene were sequenced with a MiSeq 600 cycle v3 kit (Illumina).
