Thalamic Dynamics Orchestrates the Recovery of Tonic Alertness during Nocturnal Sleep Inertia

This is the data of the manuscript entitled as "Thalamic Dynamics Orchestrates the Recovery of Tonic Alertness during Nocturnal Sleep Inertia." In this study, we reported the task-specific attributes of neurophysiological dynamics during SI. Our results highlighted the dynamic changes in CON activities following PVT engagement during SI, particularly in the thalamus activities, which mediated the relationship between sleep history and observed alertness level. The decreased CON and thalamus activities could be the core neural substrates of the impaired tonic alertness during SI.
