Raw Data for: "Multitechnique Characterization of Secondary Minerals near HI-SEAS, Hawaii, as Martian Subsurface Analogues"

This repository contains raw and processed data for the published paper: "Multitechnique Characterization of Secondary Minerals near HI-SEAS, Hawaii, as Martian Subsurface Analogues" by Mulder et al. (2023) in Scientific Reports. The dataset comprises XRF data from basalts and XRD, SWIR, FTIR and SEM data from secondary minerals in lava tubes on Mauna Loa, Hawaii. This data was used to determine the mineralogy and distribution of secondary minerals observed in lava tubes. Hyperspectral images have been used to map mineral distribution on the basaltic surfaces as analogue for Martian environments. SEM images show the internal morphology and mineralogy of silica and calcite coralloid speleothems.
